Sojourn will teach the true gospel and so equip people to cope in the world.<\/p>

We will:<\/p>

  • Provide a peaceful place for people to rest and encounter God<\/li>
  • Help enrich marriages and strengthen family bonds through different workshops.<\/li>
  • Teach and minister to youth in order to cultivate strong relationships with God and one another.<\/li>
  • Give back to the community through various channels. <\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      Teaching<\/strong> \u2013 A place to learn the true gospel and how to apply it to everyday life<\/span>
      Phillipians 4:9 – Whatever you have learned or received from me, or seen in me, put it into practise. And the God of peace will be with you.<\/em><\/span><\/p>

      Isaiah 61:1 – The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor.<\/em><\/span><\/p>

      Youth holiday camps<\/strong> \u2013 A safe place to teach children about Jesus.<\/span>
      Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.<\/em><\/span><\/p>

      Counseling<\/strong> \u2013 A place to heal the pain and comfort the sorrows of those who need it.<\/span>
      Isaiah 61:1 – He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted \u2026.. to comfort all that mourn<\/em><\/span><\/p>

      Community outreach<\/strong> \u2013 A place to give back to the community<\/span>
      James 1:27b to visit the orphans and widows in their trouble.<\/em><\/span><\/p>

      Art workshops<\/strong> \u2013 A place to exercise and use our God given talents.<\/span>
      Romans 12:6 – Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them.<\/em><\/span><\/p>

      1 Peter 4:10 – As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.<\/em><\/span><\/p>

      Exercise and health workshops<\/strong> \u2013 A place to learn how to take care of our bodies<\/span>
      1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price.       To date we have :<\/p>

      • Acquired and paid off the property<\/li>
      • Secured the perimeter<\/li>
      • Collected building materials and various other items<\/li>
      • Drawn up plans<\/li>
      • Built the community center foundations to floor level<\/li>
      • Raised just under 5% of the total funds needed<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        • Build the community center<\/li>\n
        • Build 8 additional rooms onto the existing house<\/li>\n
        • Renovate the existing house<\/li>\n
        • Landscape the gardens and put up a perimeter fence<\/li>\n
