What is a partnership?

A partnership is when a ministry invites companies and individuals to commit to a monthly / once off contribution to their ministry. This steady stream of income allows the ministry to complete specific projects or fund their day-to-day expenses – but ultimately, it allows the ministry to spread the gospel through means that they would not have had through normal streams of income such as tithes, offerings, fundraising etc. For the partners, it is a way of intentionally sowing into the ministry and ultimately into God’s kingdom.  Unlike other ministries, our request for partnership is not for the day-to-day costs of running the ministry, but rather to raise the necessary funds to complete the building project, which is going to cost roughly R2.5 million.

A beautiful example of a partnership in the bible is found in Luke 5. Simon partnered with Jesus by allowing Him to use his boat as a platform to preach from and spread the Gospel. In return, Jesus told him to let down his nets for a catch. And despite having caught nothing earlier, they caught so many fish that their nets were breaking and they had to call on others to help them. The Gospel was spread, disciples were made and the partners were blessed.
